Marketing/Analysis

  • Gather data to market plan to competitive carriers (census, current plan design, current rates, claims experience, medical conditions, funding, etc.)
  • Submit proposal request to carriers who can accommodate your plan requirements
  • Thoroughly analyze the quotations received for plan design and cost effectiveness
  • Negotiate with carrier(s) to tailor plans and rates to best suit your needs and desires
  • Provide easy-to-understand spreadsheet and analysis of the plan(s) which meet this criteria, and meet to examine our recommendations

 

Implementation

  • Assist you in compiling all necessary application material
  • Submit application material to chosen carrier and remain active in the underwriting process through the approval/effective date
  • Arrange and hold meetings to review new or renewed plan with your employees
  • Arrange and hold meetings to review new or existing administration procedures with your plan administrator

 

Ongoing Support

  • Assist your plan administrator with employees’ questions or problems regarding administration or claims
  • Remain an ongoing resource to you and your employees regarding COBRA, HIPAA, Medicare, and other federal and legislative issues
  • Advise on pre-tax payroll deduct plans
  • Assist with 5500 filings
  • Be available to you for all day-to-day employer and employee concerns regarding your benefit plan
  • Continue to monitor your plan’s effectiveness throughout the benefit year, as well as at renewal, as carrier policies and procedures and legal issues impact your plan
